Dr. Dale Okorodudu is the Founder of Black Men in White Coats, DiverseMedicine Inc., and PreMed StAR. He is a practicing Pulmonary & Critical Care Physician at the Dallas VA Medical Center and a sought after public speaker. Dr. Dale has received multiple awards & honors for his leadership, particularly as a result of his ability to innovate and leverage technology as a means to develop tomorrow's leaders in medicine & shape the medical workforce. Dr. Dale is also an avid writer and has two books in preparation for release.
Dr. Brian Williams is a trauma surgeon best known for his role in treating the victims of the 2016 Dallas Police Shooting. Prior to becoming a physician, Dr. Williams was an aeronautical engineer in the U.S. Air Force. He earned his MD from the University of South Florida. Since then, he has trained and worked at Harvard, Emory, and UT Southwestern Medical Center. He is an accomplished physician and highly sought after public speaker. Dr. Williams's passion is social justice and equality.
Dr. Daniel Okorodudu is an Endocrinologist practicing in central Texas and co-founder of PreMed StAR. He completed his medical degree and internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch then attended Duke University where he earned his fellowship in Endocrinology as well as a Master of Health Science. Dr. Daniel has a strong passion for patient care, learning and mentoring. Alongside his brother, Dr. Dale, they work to implement new ways of developing leaders in medicine.
Dr. Michael Kelso is a Gastroenterologist practicing in Charlotte, North Carolina. He completed his medical school at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine where he co-founded an organization called "Black Men in Medicine." He then went to Brown University for his Internal Medicine training and then completed his training in Gastroenterology at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Beyond medicine, Dr. Kelso is an entrepreneur currently working on his first startup company.
Dr. Kenneth Caldwell is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon who practices in the Houston, Texas area. He is thought leader in the field of social justice and is a published author, currently working on his second book. Dr. Caldwell has a heart for mentoring black males and believes that because of their history, this population has the potential to solve some of America's greatest issues!
Dr. Theodore Nyame is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon practicing in Charlotte, North Carolina. Dr. Theo completed his undergraduate education at Cornell University then obtained his Medical Degree from Harvard Medical School. He then went on to complete his plastic surgery training at that same prestigious institution. He has a passion for mentoring the youth and can often be found speaking at a local high school.
Bailey Alexander Loving grew up in an underserved community and attended Montbello High School. He is currently a MS2 at the University of Colorado Hospital. He is dedicated to inspiring the minds of young underserved populations so that they may choose to pursue a career in medicine. Bailey enjoys the art of storytelling and believes it is the key to learning and grasping difficult concepts.
