Meet Student Doctor Brian Fowler. This young man is amazing. He didn’t meet a black doctor until is 20s and had never even considered the career. Now he’s in medical school. I’ve known Student Dr. Fowler for a few years now and am extremely impressed with his grit. The take home message from this episode is that there are no excuses not to achieve your goals. He is the first person in his family to graduate college, and with little academic guidance, made it a priority to figure out how to become a doctor. Kudos to you Student Dr. Fowler.
